Designed specifically for treating computer addiction, it also can help parents motivate defiant teens to complete homework and chores by using the computer as a privilege. It can also be helpful in reducing family conflict and may also provide a starting point in the restoration of parental authority.
Our most recent product, the Parenting by Numbers(tm) Behavior Management System is an on-line token economy program designed as a standalone or adjunct behavioral treatment program for children or adolescents with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and Conduct Disorder (CD). The Behavior Management System utilizes technology to help parents, teachers and health professionals deliver clinically proven psychosocial techniques as recommended by National Institute of Health, CHADD and American Academy of Pediatrics for the treatment of ADHD and behavioral disorders. These methods have been demonstrated to be effective when medication is not an option and have been shown to reduce effective dosages when medication is used.
